About Delray Beach Residents Directory

No single volume lists everyone in Delray Beach today. Directory evidence is divided among PAPA property files, Palm Beach County voter and deed records, city-created files, and historical collections. We organize those sources so a name, street, or old address can be matched with the right public office or archive.

Why We Built This Reference

Traditional printed directories faded, while the records behind them remained in separate systems. Ownership appears through the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser and Clerk. The Supervisor of Elections keeps voter files under Florida law. Old volumes, maps, newspapers, and oral histories sit with the State Library, county library, and Delray Beach Historical Society. We bring the verified portals, office contacts, known coverage, and access limits together for Delray Beach research.

What You Will Find Here

  • Pages by angle: the street directory (address-keyed records), the city directory (the historical shelf), and the resident lookup (one-person searches)
  • The rolls and offices: assessor, recorder, elections office, court clerk, vital records, the library's local history collection
  • Walkthroughs: how to trace who lives on a street, how to read a directory entry, how to follow a household across the decades
  • Access rules: what Florida law opens, what remains confidential, and how to ask a custodian for material that is not online

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site with no connection to any Delray Beach office, Palm Beach County department, Florida agency, court, or library. Those institutions alone control their records. Important limits include:

  • We cannot confirm whether a specific person currently lives in Delray Beach
  • We cannot pull, certify, or change any record on your behalf
  • We cannot add anyone to, or remove anyone from, any roll or database
  • We cannot give legal advice about a record or a dispute
  • We cannot promise that every coverage year, link, or office detail here is current at this moment

Only the custodian office can confirm, certify, or correct a record. Nothing found through this site may be used for credit, employment, tenant, or insurance decisions.
